The National Firearms Association (NFA) in conjunction with the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Firearms Registry and Training Office have successfully held their first shooting competition. The event was held on August 2, 2021 at the shooting range in Arnos Vale.

Several persons participated in the competition but after the scores were tallied, Kris Morris was awarded the top prize of bst pistol shooter. Kayshorn Findlay placed second and Moise Cummings took the third position. The top female shooter prize went to Lia Best.  

For their shooting prowess, the competitors received cash prices in the sums of $300 (1st prize) , $200 (2nd prize), $100 (3rd prize) and $100 (top female shooter).  

The inaugural shooting competition was very competitive and exciting. The participants shot from distances of 5, 7,10, 15 and  20 meters.
