June 16, 2021, Kingstown- The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadine Police Force (RSVGPF) Choir has produced another original song entitled “Resilience”. The song was written by Police Constable #750 Kevin Thompson who is currently attached to Beat and Patrol. This is the second song that PC Thompson has written for the police choir. His first song is called “Happy Independence” and was released during the 2020 independence celebrations.
Choir Director, Station Sergeant Olsen Rodney says that the song is a tribute to the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines because of the resilience that they have displayed during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, and the eruption of the La Soufriere Volcano. Station Sergeant Rodney is hopeful that the song will inspire, strengthen and motivate the populace to be strong during this challenging period.
Musical arrangement was done by Corporal 414 Raenando Hendrickson and the song was recorded at Carlos Sampson’s studio.
The Commissioner of Police and other ranks of the RSVGPF congratulates PC Thompson and the Police Choir on the release of the song.
The RSVGPF would appreciate greatly that you play this song on your radio stations and social media platforms. A video will soon follow.
