Police have arrested and charged Sealey Matthias, 52yrs Mason of North Union/Arnos Vale and Francilla Thomas, 46yrs Self Employed of the same address with gun and ammunition charges on 09.07.19.

According to reports coming out of the South Central District both accused were arrested and charged for allegedly having in their possession one (1) 12 Gauge Shotgun serial number W715154 without a licence issued under the Firearms Act (2) For having in their possession thirty one (31) rounds of 12 Gauge Ammunitions without a licence issued under the Firearms Act (3) For having in their possession two hundred (200) rounds of .22 Ammunitions without a licence issued under the Firearms Act (4) For having in their possession twenty five (25) rounds of .38 Ammunitions without a licence issued under the Firearms Act (5) For having in their possession ten (10) rounds of 9mm Ammunitions without a licence issued under the Firearms Act (6) For having in their possession six (6) rounds of .44 Ammunitions without a licence issued under the Firearms Act (7) For having in their possession (12) twelve rounds of .357 Ammunitions without a licence issued under the Firearms Act (8) For having in their possession two (2) rounds of .32 Ammunitions without a licence issued under the Firearms Act (9) For having in their possession three (3) rounds of .380 Ammunitions without a licence issued under the Firearms Act (10) For having in their possession one hundred and seven (107) rounds of .40 Ammunitions without a licence issued under the Firearms Act, at Arnos Vale on 07.07.19.

Sealey Matthias, 52yrs Mason of North Union/Arnos Vale was also arrested and charged with allegedly having in his possession one (1) black Smith and Wesson 40 Pistol serial number unknown without a licence issued under the Firearms Act (2) For having in his possession ten (10) rounds of .40 Ammunitions without a licence issued under the Firearms Act, at Stubbs on 07.07.19.

The accused persons were expected appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.
