Carlos C. Sampson is an Assistant Commissioner of Police in the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force. He was enlisted in the Police Force on January 05, 1983 and is presently the Staff Officer to the Commissioner of Police, performing administrative duties.
During his policing career, he attended several training courses, the most notable being the National Development course in Taiwan, RSS Staff and Command course in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, CBSI Regional Cyber & Information Conference in Antigua and Barbuda, Criminal Justice Education in Virginia and Law Enforcement Management Development course in El Salvador. He also attended the FBI Academy in the USA in April 2009 and the FBI Retrainer course in Chile in 2016.
He has also represented the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the 12th Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas (Preparatory meeting) in Trinidad in April 2016 and the 12th Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas in Trinidad in October 2016.
Presently, he holds an Executive Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Certificate in Management, both obtained from the University of the West Indies, in 2008.
Prior to taking up the position of Staff Officer, Assistant Commissioner of Police Sampson held the following positions in the Police Force over the length of his career as the Police Band Master and as Divisional Commander in charge of the Western Division and the South Central Division.
