Bernard James, 40 years old Plumber of Frenches was arrested and charged with the offence of Grievous Bodily Harm on 21.11.2021 as a consequence of an incident that occurred at Frenches about 10:20 p.m. on 19.11.21.
Investigations carried out by the police revealed that the Accused allegedly unlawfully and maliciously inflicted Grievous Bodily Harm on a 56 years old unemployed of the same address by stamping on his face with his foot causing his nose to be fractured.
On the 22.11.2021, the Accused appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court to answer the charge and plead not guilty. He was granted bail in the sum of $1500.00 with one (1) surety and ordered not to have any contact with the virtual complainant. The matter was adjourned to 15.02.2022 for a preliminary inquiry.
