Police arrested and charged Lenron George 36 years old Labourer of Overland with four (4) counts of Handling Stolen Goods.
According to the investigations, the Accused allegedly (1) knowing or believing that two (2) red Samsung A20 Cellular Phones, one (1) blue HTC Cellular Phone and one (1) black Samsung Tablet to be stolen goods did dishonestly received same for his benefit; (2) for knowing or believing that one (1) grey HP Laptop and charger to be stolen did dishonestly received same for his own benefit; (3) for knowing that one (1) grey Samsung Galaxy S8 Phone; (4) for knowing or believing one (1) blue Samsung Galaxy A11 Cellular Phone to be stolen goods did dishonestly received same for his own benefits. The incidents occurred in Grand Bay on 29.10.21.
George is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.
