On 12.08.2021, police arrested and charged Kenroy Bibby, a 21 years old labourer of New Montrose with the offences of Aggravated Burglary and Intimidation.

According to investigations, the Accused man allegedly entered the dwelling house of a 61 years old Retired Principal of New Montrose as a trespasser while being armed with a cutlass and stole $3600.00ECC in cash.

In addition, he was further charged with entering upon the property of a 43 years old journalist also of New Montrose with the intent to intimidate the said journalist. The incidents occurred on 07.08.2021 and 23.05.2021 respectively.

The accused appeared before the Serious Offences Court on 13.08.21 and was not allowed to plea. He was granted bail in the sum of EC$4,000.00 with one surety, and made to surrender his travel documents. Bibby was also placed on curfew and ordered to report to the Central Police Station every Monday between 6am - 6pm. The matter was adjourned to 07.06.2021 for Preliminary Inquiries (PI).
